Garden rooms in Príncipe Real
Sample entry: a flatter, greener base, ten minutes downhill from the centre.
A demonstration entry for the neighbourhood that most first-time visitors should probably book and usually do not. Príncipe Real is level ground by Lisbon standards, it has a garden square at its centre, and almost everything else in the city is downhill from it — which matters more than it sounds at the end of a long day.
The trade-off is a ten to fifteen minute walk home that is entirely uphill. Whether that is a feature or a problem is the single most useful thing a stay recommendation can tell you.
